This project introduces “Oasis Orb,” an innovative floating marina concept inspired by
phytoplankton and strategically positioned in the naturally sheltered cove of Calanque de
Cormiou, where surrounding landforms provide protection from strong currents and waves.
The marina’s circular, nature-inspired design features modular elements that preserve
nearby marine ecosystems. Its organic, flowing pathways mirror the harmonious patterns
found in marine life and promote efficient airflow, naturally cooling the structure. Lush
green roofs and vegetated pathways are integrated not just for aesthetics but also to
harmonize with the surrounding Posidonia meadows, enhancing biodiversity, improving air quality, and reducing the marina’s environmental footprint. “Oasis Orb” perfectly blends nature with innovative design, offering a luxurious, eco-friendly sanctuary that enhances
the natural beauty of its setting.
